2. Personal data we process

MaxDeals processes personal data when you use our services and/or because you provide it to us. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Through the contact form and quote requests:

  • First and last name
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Content of your message or request
  • Selected service(s)
  • Company size and current IT situation (for quote requests)

For client relationships:

  • Company name and contact details
  • Billing address
  • Chamber of Commerce number
  • Bank details (for invoicing and direct debit)
  • Information about delivered services and products

Automatically collected during website visits:

  • IP address (anonymised)
  • Browser type and device data
  • Pages visited and click behaviour
  • Date and time of visit

3. Purpose and legal basis for processing

MaxDeals processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Handling your quote request or contact request (basis: performance of contract)
  • Delivering our IT services (basis: performance of contract)
  • Sending invoices and processing payments (basis: performance of contract)
  • Sending service notifications and updates about your services (basis: legitimate interest)
  • Improving our website and services (basis: legitimate interest)
  • Complying with legal obligations such as tax administration (basis: legal obligation)

4. How long we retain data

MaxDeals does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary:

  • Contact form submissions: maximum 12 months after last contact
  • Client data: for the duration of the agreement plus 7 years (statutory retention period for tax administration)
  • Website analytics: maximum 26 months (anonymised)

5. Sharing with third parties

MaxDeals only shares your personal data with third parties if necessary for the execution of our services or to comply with a legal obligation. We sign a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf.

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase, database and authentication (servers in the EU)
  • Mollie, payment processing
  • SuperOps, ticketing system and invoicing
  • Microsoft, Microsoft 365 management (as processor on behalf of clients)
  • Bitdefender, endpoint security (as processor on behalf of clients)

MaxDeals does not sell your data to third parties.

6. Viewing, modifying or deleting data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw consent for the data processing or object to the processing, and you have the right to data portability.

You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion or data transfer to info@maxdeals.net. To make sure the request is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your ID. In this copy, black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number and citizen service number to protect your privacy.

MaxDeals will respond as quickly as possible, but no later than within 4 weeks.

7. Security

MaxDeals takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access and unwanted disclosure.

Measures we take:

  • Encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) on all our websites and systems
  • Restricted access to personal data (need-to-know basis)
  • Regular updates and patches of our systems
  • Use of strong passwords and multi-factor authentication

8. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us directly. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the supervisory body in the field of privacy protection: www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
